Fashion designers stitch between their cuts fragments of human character, their vision for themselves and their attitude towards the world.

Injonge Karagwa
is one of the designers reviving the fashion industry in Rwanda. She’s part of a vibrant community helping African pride burst into millions of colours and contemporary shapes. Born in Belgium, Injonge grew up with globetrotting parents who travelled between Africa and Europe. She fell in love with fashion while studying in Paris and working as a model. After working with various development organisations, Injonge decided to establish herself in Rwanda and showcase her own designs. The result: Tsapa! It’s a Rwandan fashion brand that recalls our African roots whilst being utterly contemporary. “Tsapa! is a mix of culture, colours and sensations, Our goal is to marry contemporary designs, tailored cuts and African prints.”
Injonge says.
